Product Description

The silicon carbide heating element is a kind of non-metal high temperature electric heating element.It is made of selected super quality green silicon carbide as main material,which is made into blank,silided under high temperature and re-crystallized. Compared with metal electric heating element, this kind of element is characterized by high-applied temperature, anti-oxidization, anti-corrosion, long service life, little deformation, easy installation and maintenance. Therefore, it is widely used in various high temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating devices, such as in the industries of magnet, ceramics, powder metallurgy, glass, metallurgy and machinery, etc.We adopt new production process of cold ends, so our SIC heating elements have excellent specific rate of heat zone resistance and cold end resistance, saving energy, long life, avoiding over-temperature of cold ends to damage the furnace body.

Applications: 
Widely used in high-temperature fields such as electronics, magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, semiconductors, analysis and testing, and scientific research, and has become a tunnel kiln, roller kiln, glass kiln, vacuum furnace, muffle furnace, smelting furnace and electric heating elements for heating equipment.

Specification:
GD type ,GC type , U type, Gun type, H type, W type, Spiral type. Specifications of rod are available from Dia 8mm to 60mm. Specifications of tube are from Dia 16mm to 120mm for all types.

1. U Type SIC heater
SIC heaters are constructed to from a U-shape. Consequently Type U have the terminals at one end for a single-phase power source. This reduces the number terminations and cold ends thus enabling energy savings.
2.W Type SIC heater
SIC heater with the terminals at one end, is designed for three-phase power source applications, such as the float glass process.
3.Spiral Type SIC heater
SIC heater with a spiral-grooved heating section, are more resistant to heat and corrosion than conventional products and are able to withstand operation in rigorous conditions. Single spiral elements are provided with energy-saving, low-resistance, cold-end terminals.
4.Double Spiral Type SIC heater
SIC heater with a spiral-grooved heating section, are more resistant to heat and corrosion than conventional products and are able to withstand operation in rigorous conditions. Double spiral elements are provided with energy-saving, low-resistance, cold-end terminals.

5.GC ( Dumb bell type )and GD (Rod)Type SIC heater
GC and GD type SIC heater is made from high-density,high-purity silicon carbide ,which is the most popular type of economical heating element capable of operating under hot and rigorous environments.

Notice for using and installing SIC heater:
1. Be protected against damp during storing or installing to ensure the performance ;
2. Divided before assembling. The tolerance of the resistance of each one cannot exceed by 10% each other;
3. Be careful when using and maintaining;
4. When operating the electric furnace at the beginning, the voltage should be increased slowly and cannot be fully loaded at once. Otherwise the larger current will be resulted in the damage of heater. 
5. When heater is damaged and need to be changed, the resistance of new ne should follow the increasing resistance. If many are damaged or resistance increased too much, heater should be changed.
